The Shoot the Lights Out Basketball Camp will be directed by Coach Bill Hopkins, a seasoned veteran coach with over 45 years of experience in coaching the game. 

We firmly believe that this camp is essential for an effective off-season improvement program. Every player wants to score, but only through proper technique and repetitions will the player achieve consistency as well as their personal scoring goals. Players will be taught the proper fundamentals of shooting, including areas such as: upper body alignment, shooting footwork, hand position on the ball, follow-through, proper arc, use of one’s legs to elevate, correct ball rotation, catch & shoot, shooting off a dribble and foul shooting.

This full week camp will be hosted at Athens Area Schools from August 3rd through August 7th from 9AM – 1PM daily. A lunch break will occur everyday – campers must bring their own lunch.

The cost of the camp will be $100 per camper if the application is post marked two weeks prior to camp. There are multi-player family discounts – please see the application for more details.
